Festival favourites, 19-Twenty, return to their second home after another mammoth 12 months headlining sold out shows and appearing on a host of major festival bills including Woodford Folk Festival, Narooma Blues, Echuca Winter Blues and many more. Known for the energetic live shows 19-Twenty are fast becoming the go-to act for festivalgoers. Winners of the Blues at Bridgetown People’s Choice awards in 2012 AND 2013 they are set to release their brand new Album at this year’s Bridgetown Festival!

From humble beginnings seven years ago touring the country in a Toyota Camry, pulling all the gear behind them in a makeshift trailer, 19-Twenty have gone from strength to strength –honing their sound and delivering a live show which is very unique, entertaining and highly energetic.

19-Twenty were HANDPICKED by Cold Chisel Management as the only support band to open for Cold Chisel’s first club gig in 30 years and their last as the original line-up in front of 1500 screaming fans, which sold out in three minutes.

In the past 7 years they have supported the following acts (to name a few) – Cold Chisel, Diesel, Doug Macleod (US), Billy Thorpe, Ian Moss, The Radiators, Dallas Frasca, Dragon, Jeff Lang, Ray Beadle, Ash Grunwald, Toby and Code Red, Pete Cornelius, Mal Eastick, Steve Arvey (US), Paul Greene … and have played these festival stages:

Woodford Folk Festival (QLD) • Lock Stock (London, UK) • Blues at Bridgetown Blues (WA) • Narooma Blues (NSW) • Wollombi Music Festival (NSW) • Echuca Winter Blues Festival (VIC) • Sydney Blues Festival (NSW) • Bulli Folk (NSW) • Goulburn Blues (NSW) • Kiama Blues (NSW) • Broadbeach Blues (QLD) • Headstock Guitar festival (NSW) • Shedrock Festival (VIC)

Constantly on the road or in the sky, in the past seven years they have travelled seven times around Oz and performed at gigs all through Belgium, The Netherlands and France including a host of gigs in London, including playing at the famous Alley Cat nightclub in SoHo. Playing anywhere and everywhere this truly 100% independent act have been blazing through Europe and Australia receiving an amazing and positive reaction!!

A 19-Twenty show is something definitely not to be missed. Sliding, Stompin’ Blues songs, Celtic Inspired Dance and soft creative lyrical ballads. A rowdy bunch of lads who genuinely LOVE what they do.
