Craig Ross, born and raised in Melbourne, learnt to play the blues at an early age while listening to artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, BB King and Robert Johnson. He has developed a unique style of blues, rock and jazz over the past 10 years since moving to Bridgetown in 2006 with his wife and three children. Mainly self-taught, he’s enjoyed busking on the streets and playing in bars and clubs in Perth and across the South West.
His first original song “Maybe Baby” was recorded with vocals by local musician Kirsty Finn and is featured on Perth Blues Club’s “Steel Blues” CD. Now at the age of 45, he is currently working on his first album and ready to embark on another chapter in his life, bringing a soulful blend of blues and jazz to audiences around the region.
