End of Fashion is the brain child of singer, songwriter, performer, artist and frontman, Justin Burford. Formed in 2003 as a means for Burford to pursue his musical talents and vision, the band quickly rose to national attention for their blistering live shows. End of Fashion delivered the goods on their first full length eponymous album with the spotlight firmly placed on Burford’s soaring vocals and incredible songwriting prowess. They deservedly became fast festival and radio darlings, earning platinum sales and high positions on national radio charts, including a coveted top ten spot in triple J’s hottest 100. To cap off a dizzying run and a slew of hits, two ARIA awards would be won for best breakthrough single and video clip for the now iconic tune, “O Yeah”. The band would go on to deliver two more fan favourite albums. Book of Lies, had lead single “Fussy” all over national radio. This was followed up by Holiday Trip of a Lifetime, a lush, dreamy change in direction that put pop song writing and the band’s production prowess at the fore. After taking time away to pursue other creative endeavours, Burford reformed the band in 2016 for a massive run around the country. This gave him the spark to start penning brand new Fash tunes. After three single drops in the past three years, the band are now putting the final touches on a full length album, their first in over a decade. Plenty of exciting times and tunes ahead for The Fash, so watch this space!
